The "Bowl" or body is made of High-Strength cold pulled steel.  The bowl is then Spun at high speed in the milling process creating the innovative shape. The engineered "high side angle" design allows for complete product removal from the bottom of the bag without the customary "Shake out", mess and wasted product. The innovative design always keeps the handle up & out of the product. This also means that the handle is able to be griped securely and is easy to pickup.  Electro plated galvanizing provides lasting rust resistance. The comfort molded Beech hardwood handle is well designed to be easy to grip, turn and is naturally slip resistant.  The wood is fine sanded to a smooth finish even the most delicate hands can appreciate.  Not too big; not too small. Heavy Duty Solid Steel Hook extends fully inside the handle forming a threaded end to which a steel nut secures the handle attachment and is covered by a cap. No exposed hardware!  The hook provides easy hanging on buckets, rain barrels, garden "scoot" under seat baskets, benches and garden carts.  The hook also provides that extra leverage point when scooping up heavy materials like rock or wet soil. The hook can not be bent by hand!  Don't settle for cheap knock offs. This is particularly useful when replacing bulbs and needing to scoop out the holes in the beds.  The ability to get that finger around the hook really works!

All of Mr. Gabriel's Amazing Garden Scoops come standard with an additional super strong reinforcing steel member connecting to the bowl and handle welded and riveted in place.  This special piece form wraps around the hook's tail end all the way to the nut at the end. The Hardwood handle is then "mechanically" secured in place.  This prevents the handle from becoming loose, cracking and falling off like typical "Stab-On" type handles.  You can feel the fine quality if this tool from the moment you first pick it up and hold it in your hand.

Look at those rivets!  Those rivets aren't the cheapo hollow aluminum "Snap" type rivets.  These are solid steel machine hammered rivets.  They augment the attachment of the welded reinforcing steel connector to the bowl.

The Large GSC48 has an additional reinforcing connector welded to the Body and built into the handle providing great strength and lasting durability.  Scooping up pebbles or marble chips is no problem.  Create the drainage layer in the bottom of pots with one scoop!
